We present “A Random Day With…” our next eVerette Lia Reiss. She’s new in Berlin but were surely thankful that we have her! Lia is the one keeping it together at SOTO Store, welcoming each and everyone of us daily with her brightest smile. Sweet but surely not shy, she let’s us take a sneak peak into our life, for 24hrs. Enjoy her mobile-pics (rule @ “A Random Day With”) and a short interview below!
After dinner a quick tour at the store because I don’t spend enough time over there already, to check out the installation of My Bauhaus Is Better Than Yours – opening at Soto this week for almost 3 weeks.
Guess who’s arms are these? Joey’s. By the way if you see this picture I had to post it, you know how much I love your tattoos!
After Bar 25 and just before to go home, a little snack at MC Donald’s, always good to eat something after a party and before to go to bed! At least it sounds like a good idea after the party, not so good anymore the next morning.
A little stop at Yoli, this new frozen yogurt place which is incredible…so refreshing after a beautiful day lying in the sun. Take the mid size frozen yoghurt, add some fresh fruits and the brownie sauce to it… just amazing… good news, they are coming to Muenzstrasse this summer! Bad news for the bikini days ahead!
*Where do you come from, since when do you live in Berlin, and why?
I come from Switzerland, a nice little town called Geneva which is in the french part. I arrived in Berlin at the beginning of the year to help my boyfriend and his two partners to open a men’s store in Mitte – Soto.
*What do you do at Soto Berlin? And which is your female influence at the store, since we know you are working together with 3 guys?
I am the “store manager”. The guys are sometimes chaotic and unorganized because they have so many ideas and projects in their head… I am quite the contrary so we actually make a pretty good team and we have a lot of fun!
*What influence does Street wear have in your personal life?
I got more into this whole streetwear thing years ago because of my boyfriend who introduced me to new brands, artists, etc… ever since then I’ve gotten more interested. I don’t think you could say that I dress “streetwear”, but the people and especially the cultural part of the “movement”, if you can call it that, interest me and are definitely part of my life. For me its not a fashion statement, but more of a general way of looking at things.
*What’s currently on repeat on your iPod?
The CD of Charlotte Gainsbourg produced by Beck, IRM. I love this woman as a singer, as well as an actrice, I think she is always so natural and that’s what I like about her. She seems in her own way real to me. In general I am into soul music and hip hop, more than anything.
*In the future you would….?
Travel more, have kids, raise a family, work on new projects with Soto and enjoy life as much as I can! Times are stressful right now, while being fun too, but I sure do hope that things will eventually calm down a little.
*You never go out without…..?
My glasses, my wallet and my blackberry.
*What do you love most about Berlin?
I love this city, there is always so much going on…which I am not used to because Geneva is very small and very quite! I love the vibe of the city, the creativity, the variety in night life but the winter can be a little tough.
*What’s eVe for you?
It’s creativity, female power, daily amusement, fun, progressive, refreshing and sexy!
♥♥♥
THANK YOU LIA! EVELUV*
